Wuhan, China - November 8-9, 2025 - A team from the School of Management at Wuhan University of Technology (WHUT) clinched the first prize at the finals of the 10th National College Student Human Resource Management Comprehensive Competency Competition. Hosted by the China Human Resource Development Research Society and organized by the WHUT School of Management, the event attracted participating teams from 117 universities across China. The competition focused on cutting-edge industry demands in the digi-intellectual era, comprehensively assessing teams' strategic planning, data analysis, and solution implementation capabilities.

The WHUT team, composed of Yu Yongqing, Cao Jiaqi, and Yuan Mengni, advanced to the finals after months of preparation and successful performance in the regional rounds. By integrating digi-intellectual industry trends and practical needs, they repeatedly optimized their human resource allocation plan, ultimately developing a professional and innovative solution. During the finals, the students remained poised under rigorous questioning from judges. They clearly articulated their design logic and precisely addressed pain points in corporate HR management practice, demonstrating solid professional knowledge and agile on-site problem-solving skills.

With their outstanding overall performance, the WHUT School of Management team distinguished itself among strong national contenders to win the first prize. The award not only recognizes the students' professional capabilities but also serves as a vivid demonstration of the school’s educational mechanism to “promote learning, teaching, and capacity building through competitions”. It is expected to further motivate students’ enthusiasm for professional study and foster a positive atmosphere of skill enhancement through competition.
