Leveraging National Case Platform, School Advances Case Development and Teaching Innovation: Faculty Member Participates in 2025 CMCC Expert Committee Meeting

Guangzhou, China - December 4-5, 2025 - The 2025 Expert Committee Meeting of the China Management Case Sharing Center (CMCC), hosted by the CMCC and organized by the School of Management at Guangdong University of Technology, was held in Guangzhou. Professor Shen Jun, Director of the Management Case Center at the School of Management, Wuhan University of Technology (WHUT), attended the meeting as an expert committee member. He joined numerous scholars and experts in the field to discuss development pathways for management case teaching and research in China.

The meeting facilitated in-depth exchanges and planning on several core initiatives. Experts systematically reviewed the committees work in 2025 and outlined directions for the upcoming year. Significant focus was placed on compiling the Guidelines for the 17th National Top 100 Excellent Management Cases,aiming to promote the standardization and normalization of case writing. Discussions also centered on optimizing the format and schedule of the National Management Case Competition to enhance its professionalism and influence. Regarding case evaluation, the meeting reviewed the processes for the National Top 100 Excellent Management Cases correspondence review and the National Management Case Quality Course assessment, seeking continuous improvement of the evaluation mechanisms.

As a professional representative, Professor Shen Jun shared insights and suggestions on selecting topics for the Top 100 Cases in courses such as Accounting, Financial Management, Management Accounting, Tax Planning, Internal Control, and Risk Management. His contributions drew upon the practical experience of the WHUT School of Management in case development, teaching application, and center construction.

Through this high-level conference exchange, the school further expanded its channels for professional dialogue and collaboration within the national management case community. This lays a solid foundation for subsequent substantive cooperation in case development, teaching innovation, and competition participation. Furthermore, the discussed standards for case writing, evaluation mechanisms, and competition rules provide valuable references for the school to refine its own case construction system and deepen industry-education integration practices. The school will continue to support the Case Center in actively translating the conference outcomes into actionable steps, fostering closer integration between management education and industry practice, and continuously contributing to the enhancement of discipline construction and talent cultivation quality.
